The Passover that the way to be saved from the disasters.

B.C. 1498. Israelites who were slave for 430 years came out of Egypt On the fourteenth day of the first month at twilight by sacred calander.On that day there was the disaster - every firstborn both men and animals died.But God protected his people, Israelites , from disaster through the Passover and then they could come out of Egypt according to the lead of Moses.
The bible says that the old testament is prophecy that teaches us.(Rom 15:4)Just like in old testament Israelites could be saved by keeping the Passover , When we keep the Passover we can be saved from any disasters.


And then we can also find out the history that Israelites was protected by keeping the Passover in the time of king Hezekiah . Assyriah which is the most powerful nation at that time destroyed North Israel and attacted south Judah.But South Jadah won and did not be harmed at that time because they kept the Passover. (2Chr 30,2king 19)
Likewise the passover is not the way to escape disaster only certain time , God promise that whenever he will give salvation to God's people who keep the passover.
Then what is diffrent between the old testament Passover and New testament Passover.
In the old testament Israelites kept the passover with Lamb. But we who are living in the New testament keep the passover with the bread and wine.God promised that the bread and the wine of the passover is the flesh and the blood of Jesus Christ(Mt26:26) and Through that God promised us the eternal life. (Jn 6:54)But the Passover is known as " the Last Supper " by many people.
But many people do not know that this scene as the passover.The passover is the truth that is fogotten and is not being keeping .Even people are believing in God to receive the salvation , but They don't know when is Passover that God gave us for our salvation.
God said that " I tell you the truth , until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear form the Law unitil everything is accomplished. "Therefore God will surely accompish this prophecy also that is about the Passover God promised with us giving the salvation and eternal life through. When we see this world there are so many disasters , plagues , wars. But we know that it is impossible to escape through men's power.
Then should we find out the way to be saved in God's eyes?
There is only one church which keeps the Passover in the whole world . That is the Church of God world mission society .
Receiving the promise of God , Salvaion , and blessiong which is eternal life through the Passover , It is our ultimate goal of faith , isn't it ?

In the near future the great disaster is to come upon the whole world. How can we escape such a great disaster then? The Bible warns us that we must have God's seal to stay safe from the last plague.
First, let's find out when God begins to put a seal on His elect.

Rev 7:1 After this [the World War II,

Rev 6:12] I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree.God will start putting a seal after the World War Two and finish it before the four winds of the earth blow on the whole world.Where does God's work of putting a seal start?

Rev 7:2 I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God.God will begin to put a seal on His elect from the east.What is the seal of God? Let's find out through the Bible.

Jn 6:27 On him [Jesus] God the Father has placed his seal of approval.God has put His seal on Jesus. Therefore, Jesus is God's seal itself. Now let's find out how we can have God's seal through Jesus.

Jn 6:56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me [Jesus], and I in him.Jesus, God's seal, will stay inside us once we have His flesh and blood. We can survive the last plague at the Judgment day. How can we have Jesus' flesh and blood, God's seal?

Mt 26:17-28 Take and eat; this is my body … Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant.We can have God's seal, Jesus' flesh and blood, by keeping the Passover. Only the Passover, God's seal, can save us from the great disaster on the last day.Let's confirm that we will need God's seal on the last day through the Exodus in the time of Moses.

Ex 12:1-13 When I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you.In the time of Moses, the Israelites were saved from the destructive plague when they kept the Passover. It serves as a shadow, letting us know that no destructive plague will touch us at the last day when we keep the Passover. Now let's find a couple of examples that the Israelites got saved from the destructive plague by celebrating the Passover.

2 Ch 30:1 Hezekiah sent word to all Israel … celebrate the Passover to the LORD.:10 The people scorned and ridiculed them.In the time of King Hezekiah, Israel didn't keep the Passover and Judah celebrated the Passover. Let's find out what happened to Israel and then Judah.

2 Ki 18:9-10 Samaria was captured (by the Assyrians) in Hezekiah's sixth year.Israel was totally destroyed because it did not keep the Passover.

2 Ki 19:30-35 The angel of the LORD went out and put to death a hundred and eighty-five thousand men in the Assyrian camp.On the contrary, nothing happened to Judah from the Assyrian attack with God's protection because they had celebrated the Passover, God's seal.These two different cases were written to teach us how important the Passover is for our salvation at the last day.

Ro 15:4 Everything that was written in the past was written to teach us.
The Israelites escaped the ten plagues in Egypt by keeping the Passover. In the time of King Hezekiah, God protected only Judah which celebrated the Passover. These examples show us that the Passover is surely God's seal. Only the Passover will save us from the coming disaster at the last day. Keep the Passover, and you will have God's seal and be saved. The Meaning of the Sacrifice of the Passover

Our Father Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother(God the Mother) saved the children with God’s blood. This truth is the very Passover.-----World Mission Society Church of God.

As the Bible says that faith is being sure of what we hope for, the people of Zion believe firmly in the prophecy and earnestly hope for the kingdom of God, and they are preaching the glory of Mother throughout the whole world. As a result, many souls are now coming back to Zion.

If we are proud of our Father and Mother and display Their glory, They will greatly bless us and allow us to achieve wonderful results. Now, let's take some time to think about the meaning of the sacrifice of the Passover and the flesh and blood of God given to us.

A mother saved her child with her own blood
There was a great earthquake in Russia, and a whole town was laid in ruins. At that time, a mother and her baby were buried alive under the rubble for several days. The mother lost consciousness when the building collapsed. At the cry of her baby, she barely recovered consciousness. Then she found out that the whole town had become a town of death and that she and her baby were buried under the ruins caused by the earthquake. She tried to breast-feed her crying baby, but the milk didn't come out well because she hadn't eaten or drunk anything, not even a sip of water, for several days. It was obvious that if they were not rescued, they would lose their lives.

The mother decided to do something extreme in order to keep her baby alive until a rescue squad arrived. She took a sharp stone, cut off part of her finger and let her baby drink the blood dripping from her finger.

After a while, a relief squad arrived to save the mother and her baby. Unfortunately, the mother had already died, but her baby who was sucking her finger was still alive and was safely rescued.

To save her baby, the mother tore her own flesh and let her child drink the blood flowing from it. It was an act of her extreme love to save her child.

Through this real story, we come to understand God's love for us. Like the mother, God gave us, who were destined to die, His flesh to eat and His blood to drink in order to grant us the forgiveness of sins and lead us to eternal life and salvation. Whenever we eat the Passover bread representing Christ's flesh and drink the Passover wine symbolizing His blood, we should not only rejoice in having eternal life but remember the holy love of our Father and Mother who saved our lives.

Passover, the love of God who gave His children His own flesh and blood
The child in the above story was drinking the blood dripping from his mother's finger, which was cut off, to satisfy his hunger. He was completely unaware of the fact that it was the blood of his mother who sacrificed her own life to save him. If we were previously just like this child, we should now think of God's love and sacrifice contained in the Passover.

Jn 6:53-57 『Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him. Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me."』

God has made a precious promise to mankind that whoever eats Jesus' flesh and drinks His blood will have eternal life, while the person who does not eat His flesh or drink His blood has no life in him. To save us His children, who were sinners from heaven, God didn't even hesitate to die for us on the cross. Through the sacrifice of God, we have received salvation and eternal life.

Just as the mother saved her child with the blood flowing from her finger at the critical moment, our Father and Mother gave Their flesh to eat and Their blood to drink in order to save us. They willingly gave us Themselves for Their children since it was the only way to save the sinners who were destined to die eternally.

Mt 26:17-19, 26-28 『". . . The Teacher says: My appointed time is near. I am going to celebrate the Passover with my disciples at your house.' " So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover . . . While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take and eat; this is my body. Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you." This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins."』

The Passover bread and wine are given to mankind as the symbols of Christ's flesh and blood, having the promise of eternal life. It is God's sacrifice and love that we can ultimately discover through the Passover.

We are happy that we have eternal life by keeping the covenant of God, but we feel so sorry towards Father and Mother because They have sacrificed Themselves to give us eternal life. It is not God's will just to feel sorry or guilty. First, we should keep in mind how much our Father and Mother have suffered to save us and always give thanks to Them for Their grace. And we should willingly give ourselves to saving the whole world, just as our Father and Mother gave Themselves up for our salvation, so that we will enhance the value of the holy sacrifice of Father and Mother.

"Do this in remembrance of me"
The Passover is a feast that every member of the heavenly family must keep. The Apostle Paul emphasized that we should remember and celebrate the Passover and also proclaim it until Christ comes again.

1 Co 11:23-26 『For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, "This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me." In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me." For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.』

Christ wanted His children to remember the sacrifice of Father and Mother whenever they eat the Passover bread and drink the Passover wine; and before His ascension, He told them to proclaim His death by doing that until He comes. Through the Passover of the new covenant, we can discover God's infinite love for us and His great sacrifice that He has made to save us for 6,000 years. So, Jesus said that the Passover was the new covenant (Lk 22:20), and the Bible states that through the new covenant we have become God's heirs who will inherit the kingdom of God. Only those who understand the holy sacrifice and love of Father and Mother are worthy to be Their children and inherit the kingdom of heaven.

This beautiful story of the new covenant is ours alone, so not everyone can share it. There is no Passover in spiritual Babylon because the story of the Passover is not theirs. They abolished the Passover because it was a meaningless day for them. The Passover is the everlasting covenant established by God and a day to commemorate the sacrifice of the heavenly Father and Mother for Their children's salvation. Nevertheless, they insist that there is no need to keep the Passover. This is proof that they do not belong to the heavenly family.
However, it is a very important day for us, the heavenly family members. So in Zion we keep the Passover holy in remembrance of the love and sacrifice of our Father and Mother.

As God has loved us
God is love. Everything done by God, every purpose and will of God, has come through His love. The Passover is a feast that God has established through His love to give us life.

So, Jesus said at the Passover, "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." Just as the mother saved her child by shedding her own blood in the aforesaid true story, God saved us by tearing His flesh and shedding His blood. As God loved us, so we should love one another.

1 Jn 4:7-11 『Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him . . . Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.』

1 Jn 4:16-21 『And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him . . . If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.』

Love comes from God our Father and God our Mother. Everything done by God has come through His love. Since He loves us, He has been waiting for us to be purified like pure gold refined in a furnace and become worthy to enter the kingdom of heaven, sometimes using discipline to correct us, sometimes shedding tears for us, sometimes rejoicing, sometimes groaning, only caring for our future and worrying that we may give in to the temptations of the devil and lose the eternal kingdom of heaven.

Therefore, we also ought to love one another with the heart of God. If we do not love one another, it proves that we still understand only the literal meaning of the Passover, viewing it merely as a ceremony of eating bread and drinking wine. In this situation God would say to us, "I gave you My own flesh and blood, so that you have gained life. Then, why can't you sacrifice for one another?"

Looking forward to the everlasting kingdom of heaven, we should faithfully follow the teachings of our Father and Mother. We should not grumble against each other or envy each other: If one achieves something, we need to share in his joy; if one faces difficulties, we need to encourage and comfort him. Without unity, the gospel work cannot be fulfilled. If we preach the gospel with the holy sacrifice and love that God has shown us, God's glorious work will be quickly accomplished.

Faith that acknowledges Father and Mother and boasts about Them
How can we not boast about God who has shown us the example of the holy sacrifice? Why are we hesitating to proclaim our Father and Mother who are so wonderful? We shall tell all the people of the earth about the gracious sacrifice and love of our Father and Mother and invite them to participate in the blood of Their sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins and salvation.

We should proclaim more proudly our Father and Mother who have made us what we are today through Their love. We believe in Mother not just because the Bible testifies about Her, but because She is our heavenly Mother who gave us Her flesh to eat and Her blood to drink to save us from sin. That is why we long for Her love and sacrifice and follow Her wherever She goes, as Her children, isn't it?

If we, God's children, have understood the sacrifice of our Father and Mother, we shall boldly proclaim Their names throughout the world. We should preach Jerusalem Mother to all people around the world, so that they may repent of their sins and come back into the arms of Jerusalem Mother. This is most pleasing to our Father.

1 Jn 4:13-15 『. . . If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God.』

About 2,000 years ago, God's people proved their faith in Jesus by acknowledging Him. In this age, however, we are required to have faith in the Spirit and the Bride and proclaim Them to all the people with gladness. Our Father and Mother willingly sacrificed Their lives for our salvation. Their children, who have understood Their sacrificial love for them, are now proudly telling the whole world about the goodness of Their Parents.

What if one is ashamed of his parents and tries to conceal things about them? They will not blame or punish him for that, but will feel sad. On the contrary, if a child is proud of his parents, saying, "My dad and mom are number one," how pleased will they be? Thinking about how our earthly parents feel, we can understand the heart of our heavenly Parents.

Now, God's children are proudly proclaiming the heavenly Father and Mother, and so many people around the world are coming to Zion to meet Father and Mother according to the prophecies. When we see this unparalleled amazing work of salvation occur every day, we feel that our heavenly Father opens all the doors for preaching, being pleased with our efforts.

God is love, so He has established the Passover of the new covenant to save His children. Now we celebrate the Passover every year; whenever we partake of the bread and wine, we should remember that the bread is God's flesh torn for us and the wine is His blood shed for us. Through the Passover, let us engrave again in our hearts the sacrifice of our Father and Mother and give thanks to Them for Their grace; let's put the love of God into action and proclaim the glory of our Father and Mother.

We must not become the foolish ones who say, "Lord, Lord, open the door for us!" after the door is shut. I hope all our brothers and sisters in Zion will do their best to preach the new covenant and confidently proclaim Jerusalem Mother, who is the reality of the new covenant, so that we will live a life that is pleasing and glorifying to our Father and Mother. Jn 5:39 The Bible testifies about Jesus who is to come a second time. Among the testimonies, let’s study the Second Coming Jesus through the last Adam.

1 Co 15:45 The last Adam is a life-giving spirit. Who is Adam?

Ro 5:14 Adam is a pattern of the one to come.

Here, ‘the one to come’ means ‘Jesus to come a second time.’Therefore, the last Adam means the Second Coming Jesus in the last days. What’s the purpose of His coming? (To give us life) How will He give us life?

Jn 6:54 By letting us eat His flesh and drink His blood, He will give us eternal life and raise us up at the last day.

Then, who will save us at the last day? (Jesus who is to come a second time). How will He save us? (Through His flesh and blood). What does Jesus’ flesh and blood represent?

Mt 26:17-28 The Passover bread represents Jesus’ flesh, and the Passover wine His blood.

The last Adam is Jesus who is to come a second time to give us life. He has to bring the truth of the Passover. The One who has come according to these prophecies is Christ Ahnsahnghong. Believe in Him, and you will be saved and enter the kingdom of heaven.

All men are moaning in the agony of death. The history of death originated in the Garden of Eden, and a secret of life is in Eden, too.

Mt 13:35 “I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world.” Among the 66 books of the Bible, which book has the history of the creation of the world? It’s the book of Genesis. Among many parables in the book of Genesis, let’s study the parable of the tree of life.

Ge 2:16 God said: “If anyone eats from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, he will surely die.”

But Adam and Eve were tempted by Satan and ate the forbidden fruit, and they came to die. Then, is there no way for mortal men to get eternal life? Has God never given us the way to live forever?Concerning this, let’s have a look at

Genesis 3:22.Ge 3:22 If they had eaten from the tree of life, they would have lived forever.(However, Cherubim guarded the way to the tree of life.)

The tree of life in Eden is a parable. Then, what is its reality?

Jn 6:53 Whoever eats Jesus’ flesh and drinks His blood has eternal life.

In Eden, what should we eat to live forever? (The tree of life)According to John 6:53, what should we eat to live forever?(Jesus’ flesh and blood) Then, what does Jesus’ flesh and blood mean?(The tree of life in Eden)How can we eat Jesus’ flesh and drink His blood?

Mt 26:17-26 The Passover bread represents Jesus’ flesh, and the Passover wine His blood. So, by celebrating the Passover we can eat Jesus’ flesh and drink His blood; we can eat from the tree of life.

So far, we’ve learned that the tree of life stands for Jesus, and that the Passover is the way to eat Jesus’ flesh and drink His blood. By the way, in Eden the way to the tree of life is blocked. Who blocked the way? (God) Then, who can open the way? (God) Let’s find out whether or not God brought the tree of life in Eden at His first coming and His second coming, to save the human beings doomed to die by eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Jn 10:10 Jesus has come so that we may have life.

Men have come to die by eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in Eden.

Then, what should we eat to live forever? (The tree of life)What should we celebrate to eat from the tree of life?(The Passover)Has Jesus brought us eternal life through the Passover? (Yes)Who abolished such important truth? (The devil)

This truth of life, the Passover, was abolished by Satan at the Council of Nicaea in A.D. 325. Without the Passover, the truth of life, we cannot get salvation. So, the Bible prophesies that Jesus will come a second time to save His people in the last days.

Heb 9:28 Jesus is to appear a second time to bring salvation to us.

What is the purpose of Jesus’ second coming?(To bring salvation)What in Eden is needed to save men who are to die by eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil?(The tree of life)What is the truth through which we can eat from the tree of life? (The Passover)Who has brought this truth of life? (Christ Ahnsahnghong)

Therefore, Christ Ahnsahnghong is the Second Coming Jesus, who has brought salvation to us through the Passover, according to the prophecies of the Bible. Let’s believe in Christ Ahnsahnghong, and we will have eternal life and go to heaven.

Great Blessings for Our Small Efforts

‘Let’s find our lost brothers and sisters in Arequipa and please our Heavenly Mother!’With this resolution, we planned a five-day short-term mission trip. Some of us didn’t have a lot of experience in preaching, but our hearts were burning with fervor. We decided to find our heavenly family by all means in order to shorten Mother’s suffering, and left for Arequipa, the second largest city in Peru, on Sunday afternoon, February 15, 2009.Arequipa is some distance away from Lima?it takes 16 hours by car from Lima to Arequipa. Unfortunately, our car even broke down on the road, so we arrived at our destination at 2 p.m. on Monday. The first thing we did when we arrived was to gather in the Arequipa Zion and earnestly pray to Father and Mother for allowing us to bear good fruit. We went straight to preach the gospel with the members of the Arequipa Zion. Surprisingly, less than an hour after we started to preach, a new life was born and eleven souls came into Mother’s arms on that day. We gave thanks to Father and Mother. As the rainy season started in Arequipa from the next day, there was a lot of rain and a big drop in temperature. Since we were accustomed to the desert climate with little rain, it was hard for us to adapt to the cold weather. Moreover, we didn’t have suitable clothing. However, we couldn’t step back because of rain or cold. Rather, we gathered our energy to preach the gospel, feeling Father and Mother’s sacrifice and giving thanks to Them for allowing us to follow Their way.When a member opened the Bible and preached the Word in the rainy park, another member next to her covered the Bible with her hands so that it wouldn’t get wet. The person, who at first showed no interest in the Word, began to listen to the gospel attentively. After she was told about the truth of Heavenly Mother, she opened her mind and received the truth in Zion. The truth about Heavenly Mother was surely the master key of the gospel; the people, who were very proud of being Catholic and stubborn, were very surprised when they heard about God the Mother and came to Zion to listen to the Word. We were greatly moved. Our enthusiasm did not cool down because of the joy of bearing fruit, even though we were freezing because of the weather. Unfortunately, Sister Julia, who was older than others, came down with a cold. However, she didn’t give up preaching, so the members had to urge her to rest. Yet, the next day, the sister earnestly asked the overseer to allow her to preach, watching the members going out to proclaim the glory of Heavenly Mother. “I’ll be careful not to affect my health, so please let me go preach.”Sister Julia returned with a young adult just 20 minutes after she went out. She was a beautiful soul who wanted to listen to the truth about Heavenly Mother.
of course, some people stubbornly refused to listen to the Word with excuses like they were busy; some denied the truth of the Bible, ridiculed us and spoke ill of us even though they claimed to believe in God. However, because we firmly believed the victory of God Elohim, we pushed on preaching the gospel, and as a result God led 49 souls to Zion. They all received the truth with conviction and were reborn as the children of heaven. What we did was just open our mouths and told the Word. It was God who moved their minds and performed everything. We felt the power of God who is always with His weak children, and we testified about Heavenly Father and Mother boldly anytime, anywhere. While we spent time together with the members of the Arequipa Zion, the words of the Bible seemed to come alive, “How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!” The members understood one another’s difficulties and were considerate of each other. If someone was worried because he didn’t bear fruit, everybody prayed for him and encouraged him; it was something that was beyond words.During the mission trip, I realized even one ten-thousandth of the great sacrifice of God Elohim. I want to be a stronger worker of the gospel, so that I can deliver the light of life to all people throughout the world. I hope we will soon return to our home in heaven where our Father dwells, with Heavenly Mother. Heavenly Father and Mother, You poured abundant blessings upon Your children, though we only made a small effort for the gospel! All glory and thanks and praise be to You forever!

28 This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
We can eat the Jesus` flesh and drink his blood through the passover's bread & wine.
The bible testifies that if we don`t keep the passover, no one can get the eternal life.

By the way, why don`t most Christian know the passover?

-BOOK OF THE HYSTORY-

The Emperor Constantine was the chairman at this religious council which was held in Nicaea from May to June in A.D. 325. At this council, it was decided to abolish the Passover and to keep the Resurrection Day, so-called Easter, and the date of Easter was appointed as the 1st Sunday after the 1st full moon after the vernal equinox. It was not possible to keep the Resurrection Day on the appointed date in the Bible because the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread were abolished.

God comes to this earth a second time to restore the passover which is abolished by satan

Heb 9:28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
Second coming Jesus must bring the passover of eternal life

54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.

55 For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink.

Jesus came to this earth for our salvation (Heb 9:28)SO, he gave us his body and blood.

Then, how do we eat Jesus` body & drink the Jesus` blood?

Where do I begin? There were so many scenarios in my head about what it would be like to see Mother. I had seen the videos and heard many fragrances. I felt as though I could imagine what it was like. This could not have been further from the truth, even though my whole life was preparing me for this moment, I had no idea how much my perspective would change in just ten short days. No words can describe the feeling you get just being in the same room as Mother. Even now as I try to write the only term that comes to my mind is inexpressible. I could only imagine that it was like how heaven must be no worries or cares, only trying to take in every moment and keep it somehow.Before coming to the truth, I was so worldly, only having physical goals: Like how I could make more money, how I could have the best stuff, anything to make myself happy. I didn’t realize the whole time there was nothing I could do that could make me happy. Father and Mother called me out of darkness and into Their light in January of 2007; They brought me into true happiness. Even though my husband had preached to me for nearly 6 years, I continued to judge and persecute and hold onto my physical life. Father and Mother full of love were so patient with this rebellious child. For this patience and mercy I am eternally thankful to my Heavenly Parents. Visiting Korea, I knew there was so much I wanted to thank Mother for, also so much I wanted to apologize for.In the days leading up to the trip, I began to think what it was that I really wanted to learn in Korea. I felt like I lacked understanding in so many areas though I had knowledge. So whereas I knew Father and Mother loved us, I wanted to understand how much. In my heart if this was accomplished, then I truly learned something worth sharing. My prayers were answered when some of the sacrifice our Parents made was revealed to us. I knew They left Their heavenly thrones and came to this earth, bound by the flesh. However, because this sacrifice is in a realm which we cannot conceive, They sacrificed more. They forsook all things?food, warmth and sleep, and the list went on an on. How could this be possible? Only because They are God and because of the love They have for Their children, it is possible. Learning how much They had given up for our eternal life was something that weighed so heavily on my heart. I felt so ashamed for taking my salvation for granted and not thinking about the path that Father and Mother walked in order that I may receive it.As the days passed by, I began to see Mother differently. In the beginning I could only think about Her as God who knows all things, but then I started to see Her as my Mother who has loved me from creation despite my many imperfections. Mother never hesitated to tell us how much She loved us or grab our hand if the opportunity was available, anything to demonstrate to us Her love, even listening to nearly one hundred brothers and sisters practice preaching, always encouraging and smiling, making you feel so comfortable. Before we left, Mother earnestly prayed for Her children to receive strength to endure in these last days. Though I came to Korea with curiosity, I left with certainty that Father and Mother are God Almighty and They love us so much and also that with Them all things are possible. Now returning back to the states, I want to hold onto all the blessing and love that Mother gave me and shine Her glory to the world. Though only a portion of this gospel work is left to be complete, I pray that all of my brothers and sisters receive the Holy Spirit and work diligently till we can be together with our Heavenly Father and Mother and live in unity with perfect happiness eternally

If we look at every aspect of the lives of the forefathers of faith recorded in the Bible, who were loved by God and received salvation, we can find out that they all had one thing in common: They always stayed close to God's word and regarded His word as absolute. Like them, we, too, should live close to the Word in order to enter the eternal heavenly kingdom.Man is more likely to be affected by those who are close to him. If anyone stays near an air conditioner, cool air is conveyed to him, and if he stays near a heater, warm air is delivered to him. In the same way, if one comes near to God, the overflowing energy of life from God is conveyed to him, isn't it? A person who does not draw near to God but is absorbed in his own thoughts can never feel the power of the Holy Spirit from God.We, the people of Zion, should always stay close to God, who pours out the latter rain of the Holy Spirit abundantly upon all thirsty souls around the world. For this, we need to keep close to God's word and obey it all the time.Do not add to or subtract from God's wordGod says whoever wants to take part in the kingdom of heaven must rely absolutely on the Word. Rev 22:17-19 『The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life. I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.』Our heavenly Father and Mother teach us, Their children, to follow the Word without adding to or subtracting from the Word. They want us to live close to the Word because it brings life, salvation and eternal joy.There are many people in the world who love money, honor, power and secular pleasure. However, considering the past history, we can see that most of the people who loved those worldly things ultimately met a tragic end.In one of Jesus' parables, the prodigal son who pursued worldly pleasures left his father's home and went to a country far from home, where he suffered much. As he went through all kinds of difficulties, he came to realize why he was placed in such a miserable situation. All his misfortune began when stayed far away from his father and his home. So, he shook things off and returned home to his father (Lk 15:11-24).The closer he came to his home, the nearer he drew to happiness. Just as the prodigal son could feel his father's love and enjoy pleasure and happiness to the fullest when he came back home to his father, so can we enjoy the eternal joy and happiness given by God as we come closer to God's word.The lives of the forefathers of faith who lived close to God's wordThrough the life of Noah, among the forefathers of faith recorded in the Bible, let's confirm that God provides us with every blessing in abundance when we live close to the Word.Ge 6:14-19 『"So make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out. This is how you are to build it: The ark is to be 450 feet long, 75 feet wide and 45 feet high. Make a roof for it and finish the ark to within 18 inches of the top. Put a door in the side of the ark and make lower, middle and upper decks. I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish. But I will establish my covenant with you, and you will enter the ark—you and your sons and your wife and your sons' wives with you. You are to bring into the ark two of all living creatures, male and female, to keep them alive with you."』God told Noah to build an ark before He judged the world by water. Noah always stayed close to God, so he was able to listen to the words of God.In those days, there were so many people on the earth, but it was only Noah who lived close to God. While other people stayed far away from God and were finally destroyed because of their wickedness, Noah always drew near to God and lived by His word, so that he was given the opportunity to build an ark to save himself, his family, and pairs of all kinds of animals as well.At the time of the Exodus, too, most people kept away from God, and only a few people lived close to God's word, as did Noah. Let's think of the twelve spies. When they returned from exploring the land of Canaan, where they saw the Canaanites of great size, ten of them gave in to a sense of defeat and said, "All the people we saw there are of great size. We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them," but Joshua and Caleb said, "We will swallow them up." Joshua and Caleb were able to shout confidently like that because they always stayed close to God.Nu 13:25-14:9 『. . . They gave Moses this account: "We went into the land to which you sent us, and it does flow with milk and honey! Here is its fruit. But the people who live there are powerful, and the cities are fortified and very large. . . . All the people we saw there are of great size. We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them." . . . Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had explored the land, tore their clothes and said to the entire Israelite assembly, " . . . If the LORD is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us. Only do not rebel against the LORD. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will swallow them up. . . ."』Joshua and Caleb were always close to God, so they could feel the scent of God. That's why they were able to have a strong faith in God, always thinking, ‘God is guiding us even at this moment.' Contrary to them, the other ten spies lived far away from God, so they were not able to feel the aroma of God and failed to realize the existence of God. So, even though God promised them that He would give them Canaan, the land flowing with milk and honey, they didn't regard His word as absolute.Once God said He would give them Canaan, they should have believed God's word and proceeded forward. However, whenever they faced obstacles midway, they gave themselves up to despair; there were many times when they fell away from the faith, which they had possessed, during their journey through the desert. In the end, unfortunately, none of them were able to enter the land of Canaan, except Joshua and Caleb, because they didn't come near to God.Nu 14:26-30 『The LORD said to Moses and Aaron: "How long will this wicked community grumble against me? I have heard the complaints of these grumbling Israelites. . . . I heard you say: In this desert your bodies will fall—every one of you twenty years old or more who was counted in the census and who has grumbled against me. Not one of you will enter the land I swore with uplifted hand to make your home, except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun."』Only those who regard God's word as absolute can enter the kingdom of heavenThe Israelites' journey to Canaan the promised land through the desert represents our journey of faith towards Heaven. Taking a lesson from the past history, we must regard every word of God as absolute and respect it. The kingdom of heaven is the place where only those who draw near to God and trust God's word absolutely can enter.Let's get closer to God and adhere more closely to His word. The closer we come to God, the stronger fragrance of God we can feel. If anyone does not feel the scent of God, he should realize that he is now far way from God and come closer to God, like the prodigal son on his way back home.Let us live by the Word. The words of the Bible cannot be fulfilled if we just read them. We need to cherish every single verse in our hearts and put it into practice. If we live close to the Word, we will be able to understand the profound meaning of every word of God and experience overflowing joy and blessings.Jas 1:22-25 『Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it—he will be blessed in what he does.』Jas 2:14-26 『What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? . . . You foolish man, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless? Was not our ancestor Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. . . . As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.』The Bible says that faith without deeds is useless and dead. If we listen to God's word and also put it into practice, we can live close to the Word and our faith can be made complete. Noah, who built the ark, and Abraham, who was willing to sacrifice his one and only son, Isaac, as a burnt offering, didn't only listen to God's word, but they also put it into practice. That's why they were considered righteous and blessed as well. Living close to God's word means putting His word into practice.Put the Word into practiceWhen we live close to the Word by putting into practice what God has said, no matter how small it is, we can produce gracious fruits. Without deeds, we can gain nothing. Keeping this fact in mind, let's think about the mission of preaching, which we must put above everything else and consider sacred.2 Ti 4:2-8 『Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. . . . keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry. . . . I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.』If we want to live close to the above words, we need to put them into practice. Not merely with words, thoughts and resolution, but with action, we have to preach the Word. This is the wisest way to live close to God's word.Apostle Paul put the words into practice. Although he received from the Jews the forty lashes minus one five times and suffered many disadvantages, he didn't fear or hesitate to preach the Word. Since he lived so close to God's word, he was able to bear much fruit wherever he sowed the seed of the gospel, and at the end of his life mission on this earth, he was confident that there was in store for him the crown of righteousness.We, too, should live close to God's word, preaching the Word with boldness every day. If we do so, we will be clothed with the power of the Holy Spirit and bear gracious fruits given by God without fail.Eph 6:10-20 『Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. . . . Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. . . . Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.』Now, we, the messengers of God, go out into the world, being armed with the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word. God sends us to preach the impending judgment and also the good news of salvation to the world, on behalf of Him. So, it is our duty to tell the message of God to all people around the world who have not yet heard it.For this, the movement to save 180 million souls is being performed this year. We ourselves should do this mission, instead of thinking, ‘Someone else will do it if I do not.' If all of us participate in saving the world, the work of salvation will be accomplished soon. The plan for saving the whole world will end up just a plan if each and every one of us does not carry it out.God gives His blessings to those who respond to the trumpet of a prophecy and take action, not to those who just stay silent, doing nothing. If we follow the Word more closely and preach God's message boldly like Peter and shout it out loud like Jonah, standing firm in faith, we can lead three thousand or one hundred and twenty thousand people to repentance in a day (see Ac 2:38-41; Jnh 3:1-10; 4:11). I earnestly hope all our brothers and sisters in Zion will be great prophets like Peter and Jonah and lead all people around the world to salvation, living a gracious life close to the Word every day.

Christ Ahnsahnghong]-Baptism

Man is mortal. Why has man become a slave to death? The Bible tells us that all men come to die on account of their sin. We cannot have life when we are still filled with sin. In order to receive eternal life, our sins must be disposed of. Baptism is the first step we can take toward salvation. Through this gracious regulation of God, our sins are cleansed and we are atoned. Therefore, the Church of God performs baptism, according to the teaching of the Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnghong.
