World mission society church of God]-The Tree of Life and Christ Ahnsahnghong

The Tree of Life and Christ Ahnsahnghong

All men are moaning in the agony of death. The history of death originated in the Garden of Eden, and a secret of life is in Eden, too.

Mt 13:35 “I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world.” Among the 66 books of the Bible, which book has the history of the creation of the world? It’s the book of Genesis. Among many parables in the book of Genesis, let’s study the parable of the tree of life.

Ge 2:16 God said: “If anyone eats from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, he will surely die.”

But Adam and Eve were tempted by Satan and ate the forbidden fruit, and they came to die. Then, is there no way for mortal men to get eternal life? Has God never given us the way to live forever?Concerning this, let’s have a look at

Genesis 3:22.Ge 3:22 If they had eaten from the tree of life, they would have lived forever.(However, Cherubim guarded the way to the tree of life.)

The tree of life in Eden is a parable. Then, what is its reality?

Jn 6:53 Whoever eats Jesus’ flesh and drinks His blood has eternal life.

In Eden, what should we eat to live forever? (The tree of life)According to John 6:53, what should we eat to live forever?(Jesus’ flesh and blood) Then, what does Jesus’ flesh and blood mean?(The tree of life in Eden)How can we eat Jesus’ flesh and drink His blood?

Mt 26:17-26 The Passover bread represents Jesus’ flesh, and the Passover wine His blood. So, by celebrating the Passover we can eat Jesus’ flesh and drink His blood; we can eat from the tree of life.

So far, we’ve learned that the tree of life stands for Jesus, and that the Passover is the way to eat Jesus’ flesh and drink His blood. By the way, in Eden the way to the tree of life is blocked. Who blocked the way? (God) Then, who can open the way? (God) Let’s find out whether or not God brought the tree of life in Eden at His first coming and His second coming, to save the human beings doomed to die by eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Jn 10:10 Jesus has come so that we may have life.

Men have come to die by eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in Eden.

Then, what should we eat to live forever? (The tree of life)What should we celebrate to eat from the tree of life?(The Passover)Has Jesus brought us eternal life through the Passover? (Yes)Who abolished such important truth? (The devil)

This truth of life, the Passover, was abolished by Satan at the Council of Nicaea in A.D. 325. Without the Passover, the truth of life, we cannot get salvation. So, the Bible prophesies that Jesus will come a second time to save His people in the last days.

Heb 9:28 Jesus is to appear a second time to bring salvation to us.

What is the purpose of Jesus’ second coming?(To bring salvation)What in Eden is needed to save men who are to die by eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil?(The tree of life)What is the truth through which we can eat from the tree of life? (The Passover)Who has brought this truth of life? (Christ Ahnsahnghong)

Therefore, Christ Ahnsahnghong is the Second Coming Jesus, who has brought salvation to us through the Passover, according to the prophecies of the Bible. Let’s believe in Christ Ahnsahnghong, and we will have eternal life and go to heaven.

Amen.
Let`s keep the Passover, the tree of life.
The passover date is 29, March
The place is church of God World Mission Society.

The Word & the Truth]-Prophecy and Its Fulfillment

The prophecy of the Day of Atonement:The people's sins were initially held in the Most Holy Place, but on the Day of Atonement, their sins were transferred onto the scapegoat. The scapegoat was troubled in the desert, carrying all of the people's sins on its head. Eventually, the goat came to die. Fulfillment of the prophecy:Our sins are initially carried by Christ, but on the Day of Atonement, our sins are transferred onto Satan—the scapegoat. Satan will be tormented in hell, carrying all of our sins on his head. Eventually, Satan will suffer eternal destruction.

The Word & the Truth]-The Day of Atonement

The Day of Atonement is the tenth day of the seventh month according to the sacred calendar, on which the sins that the Israelites had committed during the course of the year were atoned for (Lev. 23:27). Today, also, we must celebrate the Day of Atonement to be forgiven for the sins that we commit each year. Without having celebrated the Day of Atonement, we cannot say that our sins have been forgiven. Therefore, the Church of God celebrates the Day of Atonement, according to the teaching of the Second Coming Christ, Ahnsahnghong. The Day of Atonement is the day when all of the sins that we have committed all year long are handed over to the devil. Thus, the devil makes every effort to prevent God's people from celebrating the feast. We should be able to recognize the identity of those who hinder God's people from keeping this feast, because it has only been allowed to the true people of God.

The Word & the Truth]-Ceremony

Ceremony

The Israelites commemorated the Feast of Trumpets with trumpet blasts and presented an offering of fire to God. Lev. 23:23-25 『The LORD said to Moses, "Say to the Israelites: 'On the first day of the seventh month you are to have a day of rest, a sacred assembly commemorated with trumpet blasts. Do no regular work, but present an offering made to the LORD by fire.'"』

The Word & the Truth]-Origin of Trumpets2

Origin

God commanded the Israelites to commemorate the Day of Atonement annually—the day when Moses had received the new stone tablets, inscribed with the Ten Commandments, and had come down from Mount Sinai. The Day of Atonement was to be celebrated every year so that the Israelites could remember the day and could deeply repent of their sins. They prepared for the Day of Atonement in spirit and in truth, blowing trumpets for the ten days leading up to the Day of Atonement. By this, the Israelites repented of the sins that they had committed during the year, abstaining from all unholy things.

The Word & the Truth]-The Feast of Trumpets

The Feast of Trumpets

The harvest time, during which the autumn crops are gathered, begins with the Feast of Trumpets. On the first day of the seventh month by sacred year (Lev. 23:24), the Israelites held a sacred assembly, blowing their trumpets in order to prepare for the Day of Atonement. The Church of God celebrates the Feast of Trumpets in autumn according to the teachings of Christ Ahnsahnghong. The Church boldly preaches about the Second Coming Christ, Ahnsahnghong, and the feasts of God, blowing the trumpet of the gospel.

Ahnsahnghong]-We Learn Love in Jerusalem

We Learn Love in Jerusalem

50 Overseas Members Visited Jerusalem Temple in Korea According to the Prophecy
"Do not treat prophecies with contempt. Korean members of the Church of God experience this word of God when they meet their brothers and sisters who have flown from abroad like clouds, like doves, according to the prophecy in Isaiah chapter 60. From November 15 to 28, 50 overseas members visited Korea: 42 from Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, San diego, Denver, Miami, and Washington in the United States, 5 from New Delhi and Mumbai in India, and 3 from Kathmandu in Nepal. It is a rare case that American people, who delivered Christianity to Korea in the past, visited Korea to study the truth of the Bible. Worldwide Christians are continually decreasing in number. But wherever the truth of the Church of God is preached, the believers are increasing very quickly all over the world.
The members who visited Korea this time have a different kind of job such as university student, soldier, worker, and etc., but they arranged to visit Korea together by controling their holiday schedules. Their titles in the Church also were different: new comer, deacon, missionary. But they were all fluttering with the same wish to be blessed in the arms of heavenly Jerusalem. On their arrival day, Mother warmly welcomed Her children one by one from the members of New delhi who arrived first at 2 p.m. and to the members of New York and Mumbai who arrived at midnight. From the next day, the overseas members began the day, studying the words of God, and finished the day also with the words of God. They gave thanks to God with joy, saying, "Of course, we had been studying the words of God diligently in my own country. But now, during our stay in Korea, Mother gives us blessing abundantly, so that we can understand the truth more deeply and preach the truth more courageously." Korean members were impressed by the overseas brothers and sisters who studied the Bible and practised preaching until late even though they must have felt tired physically due to the jet lag.
They not only studied the Bible, but also had a joyful time with the heavenly family in Korea; some Korean members brought various kinds of food which foreigners like, some prepared heartfelt gifts, and some performed a dance for them. When Korean members greeted them, "God bless you," in English, they answered, "Bok mahni badeuseyo," in Korean. They took pictures together, saying, "We love you," "Sarang habnida! (We love you.)" The foreign members as well as Koreans always smiled. Their smiling faces in the photos looked after one another beyond all borders.Above all things, what most impressed the overseas brothers and sisters was the love of Mother. Mother comforted every single one of the 50 members, gave counsel to each of them, encouraged them whenever they presented their preaching, and worried about whether or not anyone felt comfortable. Mother served them all the time. Through Mother, the members deeply realized the sacrifice of Christ and learned how to serve others.
WATVThey said, "Korean brothers and sisters served us with a whole heart. They made us realize that we, too, have to serve our brothers and sisters as they did," "We wanted to ask Mother how to serve our brothers, but we have already given the answer. Mother Herself showed us an example." The overseas members call Korea the blessed land full of love of Mother. Before leaving Korea, Deaconess Stephanie M. Jones from the Church in Denver asked the Korean brothers to deliver her word to the Koreans who'd not received the gospel yet, "Korea is a blessed country, where God prophesied to come, so I hope that all Koreans, more than other country peoples, get salvation by listening to this truth."

Finishing about 10 day long visit, they shared warm farewell and got on the airplanes to go back to their countries. Giving thanks to God, they said, "We especially felt the love of heavenly family," "We saw Mother's sacrifice and realized the importance of unity." "We will preach the great love of God that we experienced in Korea to many people." They were full of aspiration for the gospel along with the love of God.
I love heavenly family~~ GBY ^^

Ahnsahnghong]-Let’s Become Worthy Believers

Let’s Become Worthy Believers

God came to this earth in order to lead human beings, who were destined to die because of sin, to the eternal kingdom of heaven, and has guided us so that we can live the most valuable life on this earth while looking toward heaven. So, the Bible says that the crucible for silver and the furnace for gold, but God tests our heart (Pr 17:3).The reason God tests our heart is that He wants to make us, His children, more precious and shining than pure gold, through the process of testing. Let's see through the Bible how God makes us the most valuable creatures while He is on this earth, and take some time to think about where to go or what to do.A valuable lifeThe following are from Ripley's "Believe It or Not." A five dollar lump of metal can be made into a horse's shoe worth 50 dollars. If it is refined and made into the hands of a watch, it can produce a value of 5,000 dollars. When a lump of metal is made into a horse's shoe, it just creates a value of 50 dollars, but if it is made into watch hands, it can produce a value 100 times greater than a horse's shoe. However, if it is made into a watch, it can produce a value of 50,000 dollars. When a five dollar lump of metal is changed to another form and used, it can create a value 10,000 times greater than the original one.The same material produces different values according to how it is used. It is the same with the people who believe in God. We are sinners who were doomed to eternal death because of our sins. Such valueless beings have been called by God's grace. According to how we use the talents, which God has given to each of us, in accordance with our faith, we produce different spiritual values from one another. We are all God's children called by God, but some of us play a role worthy of 50 dollars, some a role of 5,000 dollars, and others a role of 50,000 dollars. How much value do you want to have as the children of heaven when you stand before God after your life on this earth? Everybody wants to be the most valuable being. Then, what kind of life should we live in faith so that we can produce the greatest value? We need to always think it over and try to possess the greatest value.Jesus' disciples who were called to do valuable workJesus, who came to this earth in order to save mankind, first went along the sea of Galilee when He began to preach the gospel. At that time, Peter, Andrew, James and John, who were fishermen, were preparing their nets as usual. Then Jesus called them and made them "fishers of men." Mt 4:17-22 『From that time on Jesus began to preach, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near." As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men." At once they left their nets and followed him. Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John. They were in a boat with their father Zebedee, preparing their nets. Jesus called them, and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him.』God wanted to make His children the most valuable beings. Although we were spiritually sinners who were destined for death, God called us and allowed us to be born again to live a new, valuable life.Parents spare no pain and sacrifice for their children; they encourage their children to do what brings them happiness and success and set an example for them, guiding and helping them to achieve it. It is the same with our spiritual Parents. They said, "Come, follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men." Jesus didn't call His disciples just to cause them to suffer, but He called them to have the special experience of producing the most gracious and beautiful value in the world. If the apostles had only got caught up in their daily routine of making a living, they would not have been able to live such a valuable and shining life. There were numerous people 2,000 years ago, but most of them have not even been remembered by the following generations. However, the apostles like Peter and John are still remembered today, even after 2,000 years; we examine the words written by them and share grace together by talking about their works of good faith. The apostles spared no effort and sacrifice to save souls. Their life was so valuable that they were worthy of being respected not only by people on this earth but also by angels in heaven. To give them such a wonderful blessing, Jesus went along the sea of Galilee and called them to be His disciples. There is a great deal of difference in value between those who have received Christ and those who have not, even though they are all human beings. Think about the lives of the chief priests and the Pharisees who were regarded as capable and respectable people in those days, and about the life of Judas Iscariot. They were just like a five dollar lump of metal. Rather, they were worth less than five dollars, if we consider the words of Jesus, "It would be better for him if he had not been born" (Mt 26:24).However, the value of Peter, John, James and Paul was very great; Jesus made them shine like pure gold and brilliant like a precious jewel. Let's keep in mind again that saving the whole world is the way to live the most beautiful and valuable life as God's children.Gospel workers live a valuable lifeJust as the same material produces a different value according to how it is used, the same person can produce a different spiritual worth according to how he is used. It will be the most valuable life if we are used in the work of God?the gospel?above all else, following the example of Christ who came to this earth in order to make us the most valuable beings. 2 Co 3:5-6 『. . . but our competence comes from God. He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant?not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.』God wants us to be the gospel workers; He is most pleased when we preach the new covenant. By human standards, it may not seem so valuable, but the Bible shows that from God's point of view, the workers of the new covenant are the people who possess the greatest value. No matter how competent a doctor may be on this earth, he cannot raise the dead and give them eternal life. However great a man's power is, he has no authority to allow people into heaven. However, the workers of the new covenant are preaching the Passover that can save the souls, who are doomed to die because they sinned against God in heaven, and lead them safely to the kingdom of heaven. God has acknowledged those who guide all people to the path of life and help them to live a valuable life as the most valuable beings. That's why the apostles including Peter followed Jesus' call immediately and delightfully. At that time, they probably didn't know that following Jesus was the way to the glory of the everlasting heavenly kingdom, but where are they now? They must be greatly rejoicing with an inexpressible and glorious joy right beside God.We should never give up such a meaningful and valuable life or turn away from it. According to what kind of work we do, our value becomes different. The Gospel workers who earned ten more minasLk 19:11-26 『. . . "A man of noble birth went to a distant country to have himself appointed king and then to return. So he called ten of his servants and gave them ten minas. ‘Put this money to work,' he said, ‘until I come back.' . . . He was made king, however, and returned home. Then he sent for the servants to whom he had given the money, in order to find out what they had gained with it. The first one came and said, ‘Sir, your mina has earned ten more.' ‘Well done, my good servant!' his master replied. ‘Because you have been trustworthy in a very small matter, take charge of ten cities.' The second came and said, ‘Sir, your mina has earned five more.' His master answered, ‘You take charge of five cities.' Then another servant came and said, ‘Sir, here is your mina; I have kept it laid away in a piece of cloth. . . .' His master replied, ‘I will judge you by your own words, you wicked servant! You knew, did you, that I am a hard man, taking out what I did not put in, and reaping what I did not sow? Why then didn't you put my money on deposit, so that when I came back, I could have collected it with interest?' Then he said to those standing by, ‘Take his mina away from him and give it to the one who has ten minas.' ‘Sir,' they said, ‘he already has ten!' He replied, ‘I tell you that to everyone who has, more will be given, but as for the one who has nothing, even what he has will be taken away.' "』With the same mina, one person earned ten more minas and another five more minas, but the other just kept the mina which he had received. Through this parable, we need to think again about how we are carrying out the spiritual mission that we have received from God today.God has entrusted all the children of God in Zion with the gospel?the mission of preaching the truth of eternal life to all mankind. With the same gospel, some gain ten more minas, some five more, and others just keep it to themselves. This will determine their value forever. Our value is decided according to how hard we work for the gospel on this earth; there is no more opportunity to work in heaven. Considering this fact carefully, we, the apostles of the gospel, should perform the mission given to each of us graciously during our God-given time on this earth.1 Th 2:1-4 『. . . For the appeal we make does not spring from error or impure motives, nor are we trying to trick you. On the contrary, we speak as men approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please men but God, who tests our hearts.』It is because God has approved us that He has entrusted us with the gospel. Since God has called us and made us workers for the gospel which is more valuable than anything else, we should obey the will of God with thankful hearts, and make efforts to please God rather than men.Let's live a life that brings the highest valueGod is pleased with the workers of the gospel and puts a seal on them. This seal is the mark of redemption which men are not able to see but angels can see. Rev 14:1-4 『Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads. . . . These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they kept themselves pure. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among men and offered as firstfruits to God and the Lamb.』Just as a renowned calligrapher puts his chop (seal) only on his best work, God has put His seal engraved with His name on the foreheads of those who are redeemed, and has given them the glorious title "firstfruits." God has acknowledged His people as the perfect beings who have the highest value among all people, and has written His name on their foreheads. This is a blessing given not only to the 144,000 but also to all who keep the new covenant. The Bible says that there is a great multitude that no one can count and that all people around the world will stream to Zion in order to learn the ways of God. So, we need to become vessels great enough to receive all our brothers and sisters who are streaming from around the world?all those whom God sends. Nothing is impossible with God. We should give ourselves fully to the mission of preaching the gospel, believing the prophecies, so that our faith will not grow weak and become a hindrance to them.If Peter, Andrew, John and James had not done anything after they were called by Jesus, their deeds would not have been recorded anywhere in the Bible. They learned from Jesus and followed His example, always thinking over ‘how they could lead more souls to the truth of life and salvation' or ‘how they could lead all people around the world from hell to heaven?' While doing so, they preached the gospel with boldness. Even though they were persecuted, despised and afflicted, they devoted themselves to saving souls to the end, so Jesus promised them the blessings of heaven, saying, "You are those who have stood by me in my trials. And I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me, so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel" (Lk 22:28:30).Let's all be children of God who are valuable and pleasing in God's sight. Even though God has called and allowed us to participate in the most valuable work, if we just stay silent without doing the work, we cannot save the world. All our brothers and sisters in Zion around the world! I earnestly pray that you will all be changed in accordance with God's will and diligently carry out the mission as the workers of the new covenant in the given circumstances, by leading all people around the world to the kingdom of heaven.

Ahnsahnghong-A Wake-Up Call to the World

A Wake-Up Call to the World

In the Bible we can see that many souls were led to salvation when they were given a wake-up call such as the cry of Jonah and the preaching of Peter.Just as a rooster crows to announce the dawn and wake people up, God's people should awaken this dark and gloomy world with the voice of preaching the gospel. Spiritually, this is the age of confusion and darkness. Unless we sound the wake-up call to the world, nobody will be able to spiritually discern this time. We have to awaken the souls who are in a deep sleep with a loud and clear voice, steer them away from hell where they are destined to go and lead them to heaven."Forty more days and Nineveh will be overturned"- The preaching of Jonah awakened the NinevitesJonah 1:1-17 『The word of the LORD came to Jonah son of Amittai: "Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it, because its wickedness has come up before me." But Jonah ran away from the LORD and headed for Tarshish. He went down to Joppa, where he found a ship bound for that port. After paying the fare, he went aboard and sailed for Tarshish to flee from the LORD. Then the LORD sent a great wind on the sea, and such a violent storm arose that the ship threatened to break up. … Then they took Jonah and threw him overboard, and the raging sea grew calm. … and Jonah was inside the fish three days and three nights.』God sent Jonah to Nineveh the capital of Assyria, telling him to shout out a cry of alarm to awaken the Ninevites. The people of Nineveh were not looking for God and persecuting the Israelites. So Jonah thought that his life would be threatened if he went to Neneveh and preached God's message to the people. He set out to flee to Tarshish. However, he went through a quite an ordeal because he didn't carry out his task as a prophet entrusted with the mission to wake up the world. Finally, he repented and went to Nineveh to preach the message that God gave him. Jonah 3:1-10 『Then the word of the LORD came to Jonah a second time: "Go to the great city of Nineveh and proclaim to it the message I give you." Jonah obeyed the word of the LORD and went to Nineveh. … On the first day, Jonah started into the city. He proclaimed: "Forty more days and Nineveh will be overturned." The Ninevites believed God. They declared a fast, and all of them, from the greatest to the least, put on sackcloth. … When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he had compassion and did not bring upon them the destruction he had threatened.』 When Jonah proclaimed God's message, all the people in Nineveh─the king, over 120,000 inhabitants and even the animals─put on sackcloth and fasted. The cry of Jonah awakened the spiritual senses of the Ninevites and led them to repent-ance, so that they could escape destruction."Repent and be baptized in the name of Christ" - The preaching of Peter spread throughout JerusalemThe Bible tells us that unless we sound a wake-up call to the world, the world will be sleeping in darkness forever. However, if we give the cry of alarm, all the people of the world will wake up from the deep sleep of death. As Jonah led many to repentance, so did Peter; in a single day, he led 3,000 people to repent and confess their sins to God. Acts 2:14-36 『Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: "Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say. … Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ."』Acts 2:37-41 『When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?" Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. … Save yourselves from this corrupt generation." Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.』Peter was moved by the Holy Spirit and boldly proclaimed the word of God. Over 3,000 people walking in darkness were spiritually awakened by his sermon and received Christ. God has given us the task of giving a wake-up call to the world─the same mission He entrusted to Jonah and Peter. As God makes a rooster crow to announce the dawn, so He has given His people a special talent to awaken the world. We must not be silent but go and wake up the world, as God's faithful people. If Peter had not proclaimed God's word and just kept silent, would he have been able to lead over 3,000 souls to repentance in a day? If we do not give a wake-up call to the world, people will not be awakened from their deep spiritual sleep.Spiritual watchmen awaken the world with the voice of GodEzek 3:17-21 『"Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. When I say to a wicked man, ‘You will surely die,' and you do not warn him or speak out to dissuade him from his evil ways in order to save his life, that wicked man will die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. But if you do warn the wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his evil ways, he will die for his sin; but you will have saved yourself. …"』Ezek 3:7-11 『"… Do not be afraid of them or terrified by them, though they are a rebellious house." And he said to me, "Son of man, listen carefully and take to heart all the words I speak to you. Go now to your countrymen in exile and speak to them. Say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says,' whether they listen or fail to listen."』 These words are given not only to the prophet Ezekiel, but to all people who believe in God. The saints who believe in God have been appointed as the watchmen of truth. Our task is to give a wake-up call to the world. When we preach the word of God, we must not add to or take away from it. Then we will be able to lead the world to repentance and salvation. Rev 22:18-19 『I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.』 This verse reminds us of our mission to preach the word of God as it is. The world is full of darkness, being chained to Satan, so that people cannot know the true will of God. The saints of God must not leave this dark world just as it is, but awaken it with the word of God little by little.Christ, the mystery of GodWhen we preach the gospel to Samaria and the ends of the earth, the gospel will serve as a trumpet call to wake up the world. Christ is the greatest mystery described in the words of the gospel. Col 1:23-27 『if you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant. … the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the saints. To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.』 We are living in the last days. To lead us on the path to salvation, God made known to us the greatest mystery, namely, Christ. It is the Bible that testifies about Christ (John 5:39). Therefore, any thought or philosophy of man must not be added. We have to understand God's providence for the salvation of mankind through the words of the Bible without adding or taking away. The Bible testifies about Christ─the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations─as follows: Romans 5:12-14 『Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned … Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who was a pattern of the one to come.』 Here "the one to come" means Jesus to come a second time. The Bible says Adam was a pattern of Christ. This contains a significant meaning. God created the first man Adam and made Eve from his rib. So when people talk about Adam, his wife Eve is automatically mentioned as well. If Adam represents Christ to come a second time, whom does his wife Eve represent? In order to know about Christ─the mystery of God─described in the Bible, we need to find the answers to the following questions through the Bible: Why did God create Adam and Eve? Why did He make Adam a pattern of Christ to come a second time? And what relationship does Adam's wife, Eve, have with Christ who is to come a second time?God the Mother, the Bride of the LambLet's see how the Apostle John describes Christ to come a second time, who is typified by Adam in the book of Romans. Rev 19:6-8 『Then I heard … "Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear." (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of the saints.)』 The term "Lamb" in Revelation refers to Jesus to come a second time. The Apostle John saw through revelation the wife of the Lamb, the bride, as well as the Lamb. Revelation 21 describes the wife of the Lamb as follows: Rev 21:9-10 『One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, "Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb." And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.』 The angel said to John he would show him the wife of the Lamb, and he showed him Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven. Let's see what the relationship is between the heavenly Jerusalem and us. Gal 4:26 『But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.』The Jerusalem that is above means the Jerusalem in heaven. From Trinity's point of view, Christ the Lamb is our Father. Therefore, the Bride─the wife of the Lamb who is our Father─is our spiritual Mother. We can reconfirm the existence of our spiritual Father and Mother through the records of the Creation with which God opened up His plan for the salvation of mankind. Gen 1:26-27 『Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.』The God who created man was not one, but two─the plural "Us." The Bible says, "God created man in his own image, the image of God he created him; male and female he created them." Through these words, we can confirm that there are both male and female images for God. The male image of God has been called "Father" for thousands of years. In Matthew Jesus taught His disciples how to pray: "Our Father in heaven …" (Matt 6:9). Then, what should we call the female image of God? In Galatians, She is called "our Mother." The Bible clearly testifies not only about "our Father," but also about "our Mother."The Bible begins with Adam and Eve, and ends with the Spirit and the BrideThe Bible says that the mystery of Christ has been kept hidden for ages and generations. The word "hidden" implies something that already existed. To understand the mystery of God is to understand the existence of God that has been hidden from ages and from generations─since the creation of the world. Our physical life is given by our physical mothers. Likewise, our spiritual life, eternal life, is to be given by our spiritual Mother. Therefore, we must believe in both God the Father and God the Mother to gain eternal life. Many religious leaders today exclude all the records concerning Mother and insist that God the Father alone made heaven and earth and created mankind. However, God says that if anyone takes words away from the Bible, He will take away from him his share in the holy city, the kingdom of God. Eternal salvation is given to those who trust God's word, not men's. When we understand all these truths, written connectedly from Genesis to Revelation, we can give praise to God our Father and glory to God our Mother. In Revelation, the last Adam─Christ who is the Lamb─appears, along with His wife. The Elohim Gods, who appear at the beginning of the Bible, reveal Their existence again to us at the end of the Bible and make known to us all the mysteries that have been kept hidden for ages and generations. Rev 22:17 『The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.』The Lamb and His bride or wife in Revelation 19 and 21 are described as the Spirit and the Bride in Revelation 22. As the Spirit is Christ─God our Father, we can understand that the Bride is the wife of Christ─God our Mother who appears in Genesis 1. God said, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End." The terms Beginning and End refer to two points (termini). God is from everlasting to everlasting, so He has no beginning or end. Then, why does God say He is the Beginning and the End? The Bible consists of 66 books. Genesis 1 is the first chapter of the Bible, and Revelation 22 is the last chapter of it. In Genesis 1, God the Father and God the Mother created man in Their own image, saying, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness," and male and female They created them. The Gods appear as the Spirit and the Bride in Revelation 22 and say, "Come to take the water of life," and They warn us not to add to or take away from Their words.Wake up the world with the voice of the Spirit and the BrideWe need to look at the words of the Bible just as they are, so that we can get salvation. The prophet Hosea lamented, "My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6). As the people of Zion, we should always study the words of the Bible and obey the will of God the Father and God the Mother, in order that we may receive eternal life and salvation. Those who want to live according to the teachings of the Bible must believe in God the Mother as well as God the Father. With this message, we should awaken the world. If we understand the mystery of God that has been kept hidden from ages and from generations, we should give a wake-up call to the world by preaching the good news to all people. God has given us an alarm call to wake up the world. Just as a rooster crows to herald the break of a day, we have to awaken the dawn. With the voice of preaching the gospel, let us wake up this dark world. "Believe in God the Father and God the Mother and fear Them, and you will be saved." Let us proclaim this message with a louder voice than Jonah and Peter.

Ahnsahnghong]-Prophecy and Its Fulfillment

The Feast of Weeks—that is, the Pentecost—is the day when God poured out His Spirit, the motivating power that spurred the growth of the gospel and the Early Church (Acts 2:1-47). After the Pentecost, though, the Church became increasingly secularized, and the fire of the Holy Spirit grew cold. Eventually, God completely withdrew His Holy Spirit from the Church, but even this was clearly disclosed through the prophecies of the feasts. When Moses came down from the mountain, after he had received the two tablets of the Ten Commandments, he saw God's people worshiping a golden calf. He was outraged, threw the tablets out of his hands, and they shattered at the foot of the mountain. This event was a prophecy to reveal that the Holy Spirit, which was given to the Apostles on the day of Pentecost, would be withdrawn because of the secularization and the inherent corruption of the Church.

Ahnsahnghong]-Origin

On the fortieth day after crossing the Red Sea, Moses went up to Mount Sinai for the first time. God spoke to Moses, telling him all of His instructions, and when Moses came down from the mountain he revealed God's will to the people. Ten days later—on the fiftieth day after the Israelites had crossed the Red Sea—Moses returned to Mount Sinai to receive the Ten Commandments. God commanded the people to commemorate the day He had given them the Commandments, the origin of the Feast of Weeks (Ex. 24:1-18).

Ahnsahnghong-The Feast of Weeks

The Feast of Weeks, referred to in the New Testament as the "Pentecost," was celebrated 49 days after the Day of Firstfruits. On the fiftieth day, the Israelites presented a sheaf of the first grain to the LORD as a wave offering. The reason that this feast was named the "Feast of Weeks" was that there were seven Sabbaths between the Day of Firstfruits and the Pentecost (Lev. 23:15-16). The Church of God, established by the Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnghong, is the only church in the world that remembers the Pentecost, keeping it holy. God's feasts, which had been abolished during the Dark Ages, can be restored by only God. If we do not accept Christ Ahnsahnghong—who came to restore the seven feasts in three times according to the prophecies of the Bible—we will never be able to know God's feasts, much less celebrate them.

Christ Ahnsahnghong]-The Day of Firstfruits

Resurrection Day, on which Jesus rose from death, is a memorial to commemorate God's great power. In the Old Testament times, this day was known as the Day of Firstfruits. It is a sacred feast of God, which is to be celebrated on the day after the Sabbath, following the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Lev. 23:9-14). The Church of God, which faithfully obeys every teaching of the Bible, celebrates Resurrection Day on the date that was specified in the Bible. The Church of God breaks the bread that God promised would open our spiritual eyes, while the other churches eat boiled eggs—following the pagan customs—on a date which was never written in the Bible. Let's correctly understand the Day of Resurrection as it was given in the Bible so that we can celebrate the feast holy.

Christ Ahnsahnghong]-Prophecy and Its Fulfillment

The Feast of Unleavened Bread is a feast of suffering, representing the Crucifixion of Jesus. The Israelites' traveling into the Red Sea represented Jesus' going into the tomb. Their landing on the other side of the Sea represented His resurrection, the significance of which is implied in the baptism that we undergo now. On the Feast of Unleavened Bread, Moses led the natural Israelites from Egypt into the Desert of Sinai, and on this feast Jesus led the spiritual Israelites from this sinful world—the reality of Egypt—into the desert of faith. Whoever believes in Christ and is baptized has symbolically crossed the Red Sea and entered the desert of faith. When we commemorate the Feast of Unleavened Bread, we participate in Christ's suffering, and we are given the power from God to endure the tribulations and hardships that we will be faced with (Luke 22:43-44).

Christ Ahnsahnghong]- Ceremony

In the Old Testament times, God commanded His people to eat unleavened bread (made without yeast) and bitter herbs, so that they would remember the suffering of the Israelites. The unleavened bread was also called the "bread of affliction" (Deut. 16:3). These events were a prophecy to reveal that Jesus would suffer, being hung on the cross. In the New Testament times, we participate in Christ's suffering by fasting, according to God's command. Mark 2:20 『"But the time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them, and on that day they will fast."』

Christ Ahnsahnghong- Origin

This feast originated from the Israelites' suffering, from all the trials that they had experienced from the time they had kept the Passover and left Egypt, until the time they had crossed the Red Sea. Pharaoh, king of Egypt, released the Israelites from their Egyptian bondage, but immediately changed his mind. He sent all the chariots of Egypt to chase after them—including six hundred of the country's best chariots—to capture the Israelites and bring them back to Egypt. As Pharaoh's army approached, the Israelites were terrified and cried out to the LORD. At that moment, the LORD God divided the Red Sea by Moses' staff, revealing dry ground between the two walls of water. It is written that God allowed six-hundred thousand men to safely cross the Red Sea. Then, how many women and children do you think were among them? God protected the Israelites from the Egyptian army by a pillar of cloud and a pillar of fire, delaying the Egyptians' ability to chase after God's people. We can only assume how hasty and nervous the fugitives' hearts were at that time. All of the difficulties and hardships that the Israelites endured during this time period became the origin of the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Ex. 14:1-31).

Resurrection day-Ceremony

The word "firstfruits" reveals its meaning. On the day after the Sabbath, the Israelites brought a sheaf of the first grain to the priest, and the priest waved the sheaf before God so that it could be accepted on behalf of the people (Lev. 23: 9-11).

On the same day, in the New Testament times, Jesus gave bread to two disciples who were traveling to a village named Emmaus. After the disciples broke the bread that Jesus had given to them, their spiritual eyes were opened, and they recognized Him (Luke 24:13-35).

Resurrection day-Origin

When the nervous Israelites were being chased by the Egyptian army, God allowed them to cross the Red Sea under His protection, even though they had been so terrified. When God put the Sea—which had been divided—back in its place, the Egyptian army that had pursued them was buried in water. God commanded the Israelites to annually commemorate the day when they had landed on the other side of the Red Sea, so that they might remember God's great power revealed on that day. This is the origin of the Day of Firstfruits (Ex. 14:26-31).
